His Hero Is Gone Discography

When I was like Young Kid/Pre Teen/Young Teen I tried to buy music whenever i could. My mom knew how much I like music so when we went to the store she usually allotted me twenty dollars or so to get something.

At this time, Metal and Punk were what I was into, but it wasn't too hard to find something i liked when I went to WalMart (weird, I know) and Best Buy (the only two places that sold music near me.) Walmart carried Victory Records and Epitaph Records that was uncensored and Best Buy has some weird finds but by the but loads and they usually were not bad a price, but whenever I got to go to Zia Records (which was pretty rare since we didn't always hang out in Phoenix anymore) I would buy ANYTHING that looked remotely like i might like it.

I'd pass up stuff i'd know i could find at either of the places and just buy anything i've heard of before, seen the name of in Thank Yous and Friends of bands or fliers, bands on the same record label as others I like, or really just looked cool. I've found so many (and bought so many) random CD's which now makes sense why my like for most bands/genres are pretty here and there. One of those bands was no other than His Hero Is Gone.

I think it just caught my eye and the name sound cool. It was Monument To Thieves and i remember before i even listen to it I looked at the booklet first and thinking they were a KKK band or something. I really dont know why, but that memory always comes up when thinking of HHIG haha. Anyway, i was completely taken by the album. It was just perfect (and still is today). I can recall thinking Like Weeds  end to abruptly and should of been longer. But really, i think the whole album should of been longer (i think it's like 25mins or so).

Being like 13 or so when I first got into them was pretty cool, pretty much open  my ears to alot more bands of the similar sound. I think the only bands i listen to that had blast beats at the time were Youth Crew type of bands, and random Metalcore bands sounded kinda heavy like them...in any case I am happy to have found such a band an such a time.

SO with all that, I present everything I could find. I up loaded it for a friend and figured why not for here as well? Enjoy!
